Innovation
The current User ID and Password system for accessing online accounts was invented when most people did not have access to a mobile computing device like the NoteBook Computer/Laptop, NetBook and SmartPhones/PDAs.
Users had to access their online account from a computer in a public place like a library, cybercafe or friend's computer. Signing into your account required authentication and the user id and password was the most convenient way to access the online account.
However, with the number of websites increasing, users are having a diffciult time defining and remembering passwords and tend toward using either simple passwords or using the same password for most of the websites.
This has resulted in an increasing number of website accounts being hacked and resulted in identity theft.
LockIDPass aims to address this problem by innovating a easy to use and deploy but highly secured solution. LockIDPass basically locks the users account information (including their passwords) to their computer so that the information cannot be accessed from a different computer.
